1. Portal crane application
▪ Sinle beam portal cranes are mainly applied to harbors, ships at wharfs and vehicles for mechanized handling and transshipment, so as to improve the handling
efficiency and speed up the turnover of ships and vehicles.
▪ Portal crane has four major mechanisms: lifting mechanism, luffing mechanism, slewing mechanism and crane traveling mechanism. These four mechanisms, which
can act both individually and jointly, can reduce auxiliary time and improve efficiency. Thus it is a general model which features good versatility, excellent flexibility,
wide operating range and light weight.
▪ portal crane is suitable to vertical-faced wharfs of small harbors. It can work with hook or grab bucket, and it is suitable for handling of various sundry and bulk goods.
